Built for institutions where trust is non-negotiable.
Financial institutions operate in environments where data security, confidentiality and the responsible use of AI are not optional features. They are baseline requirements. complyAI is designed with these requirements at its core.
Our approach
Three principles that govern how we operate.
Data security
complyAI is built with security-first architecture. Client data is handled with strict access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, and a minimal data footprint. We do not use client data to train or improve AI models.
Client confidentiality
What you share with complyAI stays confidential. Your compliance questions, gap assessments and internal documents are not shared with third parties, used for benchmarking or disclosed outside your institution.
Responsible AI
complyAI is designed to support human judgement, not replace it. Every output is traceable to its source, uncertainty is surfaced rather than hidden, and the system is explicit about the limits of what it can and cannot determine.
Data security
Security by design.
complyAI is built for the security requirements of regulated financial institutions. Our architecture reflects the sensitivity of the data and the regulatory environment in which our clients operate.
Encryption in transit and at rest
All data transmitted to and from complyAI is encrypted. Data stored within the platform is encrypted at rest using industry-standard protocols.
No model training on client data
Client data, queries and documents are never used to train, fine-tune or improve AI models. Your institution's information is not used to benefit other clients or third parties.
Access controls
Access to client data is strictly controlled. Role-based access management ensures that only authorised users within your institution can access your compliance work.
Minimal data footprint
complyAI is designed to process what is necessary and retain only what is required. We do not collect or store data beyond what is needed to deliver the service.
Client confidentiality
Your compliance work is yours.
The questions your compliance team asks, the gaps your assessments identify, and the documents you share are confidential. complyAI does not share, aggregate or disclose client information outside your institution.
Client queries and assessments are not shared with other clients or third parties
Internal documents uploaded for analysis are not retained beyond the session unless explicitly saved by the user
Compliance positions and gap findings are not used for benchmarking or industry reporting
Client data is not disclosed to regulators or other parties except as required by applicable law
Responsible AI
AI that supports professional judgement.
complyAI is a tool for compliance professionals, not a replacement for them. We have made deliberate design choices to ensure the platform supports informed human decision-making rather than substituting for it.
Source traceability
Every substantive output is linked to the specific regulatory provision it draws from. Users can verify the basis for any answer or assessment.
Uncertainty surfaced
Where the regulatory corpus does not provide a clear answer, complyAI says so. The system does not generate confident responses where the underlying material is ambiguous or absent.
Not legal or regulatory advice
complyAI provides regulatory intelligence, not legal or regulatory advice. Outputs are designed to inform professional judgement, not to substitute for it. Users remain responsible for their compliance decisions.
Human oversight
complyAI is designed to be used by qualified compliance professionals who can evaluate, challenge and act on its outputs. The platform is a tool in the hands of experts, not an autonomous compliance function.
